Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and KovaPDF (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

The Privacy Policy and the Copyright page are part of this agreement.

KovaPDF provides online tools for editing, converting, signing and managing PDF files and images. Some tools run in your browser. Others upload your file to our servers, process it and return the result. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

You must be at least 13 and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you use KovaPDF for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf. You can use the tools without an account.

You keep all rights in the files you upload and in the results. You allow us only to receive your file, process it as you ask, return the result, and delete it. For Request Signatures, you also allow us to store the document and show it to the people you invite, until you delete it.

You are responsible for having the right to use each file in the way you do.

You must not use KovaPDF to:

• process material you have no right to use;
• create or change documents to deceive, such as forged IDs, contracts, invoices or certificates;
• upload malware or files designed to attack the service;
• get around usage limits, for example by switching identifiers, addresses or accounts;
• overload the service with automated use, or scrape it;
• access anyone else’s files, account or our systems without permission.

Security research is welcome within the rules on the Security page.

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Use an email address you control, because we use it for password resets and security notices. If you think someone else has access, reset your password (this signs you out on every device) and tell us at support@kovapdf.com.

There is a limit on how much can be processed in an hour, and a daily limit on AI summaries. Files can have up to 200 pages and 80 MB. Reaching a limit has no effect on your account; the allowance comes back over time.

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or that every result will be perfect.

Text recognition (OCR) and AI summaries can contain mistakes. Check the result before you rely on it, especially for figures in contracts, invoices or legal documents. Always keep your original files.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost data or the cost of replacement services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that period or US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You can stop using KovaPDF and delete your account at any time (see Privacy Settings). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms the service or its users, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

We may update these terms. If a change reduces your rights, we will give notice on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using KovaPDF after a change, you accept the new terms.

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term once, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. Consumer protection laws where you live still apply.
